I was visiting Anna's blog "Lona de Anna" this morning where her latest blog entry was on EAT PRAY LOVE and how it has inspired her.

This definitely looks like a must watch film (one with the girls) from the storyline to the gorgeous cinematography, but what other films have you watched that have inspired you or changed your life?

  1. Am hoping to see this movie on the weekend. I've been waiting for SO long to see it, after reading the book twice!

    Have a wonderful weekend,

    x Felicity

PS love the new look of your space, very fresh and springlike....+ music is great.

  2. At 9 I watched 'Nadia' then thought I was Nadia, and practiced gymnastics relentlessly on the back lawn, trying to get the perfect score of 10.
Romantically I loved 'The Notebook', and would love to go that way, minus the dementia, but holding hands with my husband old & grey, and just go off to sleep.
A Thelma & Louise roadtrip sounds like fun with the girls, just not the driving off the cliff ending.
Design wise all sorts of movies. 'Somethings Gotta Give' made me want her kitchen, and 'Julie & Julia' made me want to try a new recipe every day.
Ah too many, too many... :)x

  3. I would like to see this as well. One film that I love to watch is "Amelie." I don't think it changed my life, but the daring of that shy lonely French girl is certainly inspiring!

Thanks for your kind words on my blog--I plan to be around more after my birthday next month--I've missed visiting here!

  4. i read the book but i find it a bit slow, i bet the movie should be better, since its our dear julie (my absolutely fav actress) is in it. and of cause me been to all 3 countries makes it even better.

  5. I am yet to see this film but cannot wait

  6. Since posting this I'm still yet to see it also (it just gets so busy around here!!) but I love reading your feedback on it.

Sonia you've given a wonderful list of fave films. The only one I haven't seen is Nadia but I also love love Thelma and Louise. One of mine and my besties fave film.

And Amy, well what can you say about Amelie except simply divine. It's definitely a favourite here....and so creatively done xx
