  1. Cute giveaway. I was a huge fan of Enid Blyton's The Magic Faraway Tree. :)

  2. My most most most bestest book was the one given to me by my grandma, Black Beauty. I also loved The Secret Garden.

  3. Thank so much for the awesome plug Lou xxx

  4. Lovely giveaway :) My fave book was one called The Little Black Pony. I read it over and over x

  5. My first favourite book was given to my
sister in 1967 and it is called "My book
of kittens and Puppies" Illustrated by
Racey Helps and stories by Guy L Wallace.
It costed my Mum 40c and worth its weight
in gold because the illustrations are so beautiful and who doesn't love naughty
    cats and dogs?
Love Little Birds simply beautiful creations.

  6. Thank you so much for the opportunity to enter this give away. Raine and Sage has also chosen my favourite book. I also loved the Wishing Chair. I just recently saw the Enid Blyton movie with Helena Bonham Carter playing Enid. My oh my, she seemed like a very mixed up lady!

    Best wishes,

  7. I can't remember which was my favourite but I still remember "Where the wild things are" and "The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper's Feast". Both due to their lovely illustrations.

  8. I loved Belinda the cow - it was my first book borrowed out in grade 1 (possibly because my name was in the title). I own that book today, it rocks. But I always loved all the baby-sitter club books & couldn't get enough of the goosebump series!!

  9. My fav kids book was the trusty old nursery rhyme book.

  10. Thank you gorgeous ladies in being part of this Give Away :) I want to congratulate Sarah B for being the winner of this fantastic paper bunting.

I also love your choices in books. How wonderful to be able to escape to incredible places in our mind thanks to these incredible authors.

My all time fave when I was younger was "Jillian Jigs" but then I loved Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel and other old fashioned stories...with all the scary bits left in for me please.
