{Happy Mother's Day...& Give Away Last Chance}

Good morning all. It's a beautiful Autumn day here in Ipswich. Birds are chipper, the sun is shining brightly and the natural light is gentle (I always find it that way in our cooler months).

The weekend is almost upon us and to all you mums out there, our one day off in the year (hehe) is this Sunday. So Happy Mother's Day to you all. I hope you all do something that makes your heart sing. I've decided all I really want to do is some pottering in the garden, snuggling on the couch (perfect weather for that at the moment) while we watch "The Sound of Music" and of course the famous homemade Mother's Day cards by the kids. What makes your Mother's Day perfect?

Speaking of mothers, I have decided to extend April's Give Away, "What teenage girls don't tell their parents" by Michelle Mitchell, to the end of this Sunday evening (midnight) as we had so many holidays in April that disrupted the flow of things.

This book provides tools to parents who are raising teenage daughters and I really thing it's a wonderful resource for parents who are yet to reach that stage so they are better prepared for when they do. Michelle is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to this topic I highly recommend this book to any parents with teenage daughters.

Love Lou xo

(PS The above image the reason why I really really deserve Mother's Day)

  1. I hope you have a lovely Mothers day Lou with those beautiful children. I will spend it with my family too, it's a nice day to get all the homemade stuff. xx

  2. Happy Mother's Day Lou. Your plans for the day sound perfect to me.xx Katherine

  3. Lou- Happy Mothers Day to you! The pictures are beautiful.

    My oldest girl is just 10, so i don't need that book, right?
